PAYMENT SOLUTIONS for U.S. businesses

Pass the card fee. Keep the 2–4%.

Card processing fees quietly take a cut of every sale before you ever see it. Our Cash Discount program is designed to offset that cost — potentially bringing your processing cost to zero, with a smooth customer experience.

We work with retail stores, restaurants, medical offices, salons, and service businesses across Texas. If you process more than $10,000 a month in card payments, you likely qualify for the zero-cost program.

Expert Guidance

No guesswork. We break down your statement line by line and show you the real cost — even when the honest answer is "you're fine."

A program built around your state, your industry, and your average ticket. Not a template, and not the same pitch every business on the block already heard.

Better Results

Processing cost off your P&L, terms you can leave at any time, and a number at 30 and 60 days that proves it worked.

The problem

Processing fees are the one expense nobody negotiates.

You shop your insurance. You shop your suppliers. Meanwhile per-transaction fees, compliance fees, and other processing charges quietly add up — hitting your profits, your bottom line, and your overall cost of doing business.

It's deducted before you see it

The fee never hits your books as a bill you approve. It's netted out of your deposit, which is exactly why it goes unchallenged for years.

It grows as you grow

Rent is fixed. Processing isn't. Every good month, every price increase, every new location makes the fee bigger — permanently.

It compounds against you

$1,400 a month isn't $1,400. Over five years it's $84,000 — a hire you didn't make, equipment you didn't buy, a location you didn't open.

Your statement is designed to confuse

Tiered pricing, downgrades, padded assessments. Most owners can't state their true effective rate — and that's not an accident.

What's included

Everything, built for zero.

There's no setup fee, no terminal fee, and no cancellation fee for standard program equipment. The program is designed to pay for itself out of the fees it removes.

Built for zero-cost acceptance

Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover, with a program built to bring your effective processing cost to zero.

Fast, preconfigured shipping

Your terminal ships preprogrammed and ready to go — plug it in, take a test sale, you're live. Where compatible, we can integrate with your existing POS instead.

Compliance done for you

Register the program, produce the required signage, configure receipt-level disclosures, and keep you current as rules change.

Month-to-month terms

No 36-month lease, no early termination penalty. If it doesn't work for your business, you leave.

Fast funding

Batch tonight, funded as soon as the next business day in most cases. Weekend, holiday, and bank processing times can affect timing.

A support line that answers

Texas-based, and you get a named contact rather than a ticket queue. Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm CT.

A good fit if you…

  • Run a Texas business with a physical location
  • Process $10,000+ per month in card volume
  • Operate in retail, food service, professional services, medical, or auto
  • Are willing to post the required customer-facing signage

Not a fit if you…

  • Fall into a high-risk category (adult, firearms, CBD, gaming, debt relief)
  • Operate where surcharging is restricted — we'll tell you straight and suggest an alternative
  • Process card-not-present transactions exclusively, with an average ticket under $10
  • Want us to hide the program from your customers — we won't do that
How it works

Four steps. Typically under a week.

Most of the work is ours. Your total time investment is roughly twenty minutes.

  1. 01

    Send one statement

A single recent processing statement is all we need. We read it line by line and hand back your true effective rate — usually higher than owners expect.

    10 minutes

    We design the program

Cash discount or surcharge, chosen for your state, your industry, and your average ticket. You see the exact customer-facing wording before anything is approved.

    1–2 days
  3. 03

    Terminal and signage arrive

Preconfigured hardware plus a compliance kit: door decal, counter card, and receipt language already loaded. We walk your staff through it on a short call.

    2–3 days
  4. 04

    Your fees stop

From the first transaction forward, processing cost is off your P&L. We check in at 30 and 60 days with the numbers to prove it.

Hardware & technology

Customized Solutions

Different businesses take payments in different ways. Here's the hardware and technology behind each one, and where it fits.

Countertop Terminals

A countertop terminal is a device that businesses use to take credit and debit card payments at the checkout. It stays in one spot on a counter, connects to the payment system using Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable, and needs to stay plugged into a power outlet to work.

  • Retail Stores
  • Restaurants
  • Salons and Spas

Wireless Terminals

A wireless terminal is a portable device that lets businesses take credit and debit card payments without being plugged into a power outlet or internet cable. It connects using Wi-Fi or mobile data, so you can use it anywhere, like at a table or on the go.

  • Restaurants (Table & Counter Service)
  • Food Trucks
  • Delivery Services

POS (Point-of-Sale) Systems

A point of sale (POS) system is like a smart cash register that helps businesses take payments and manage their sales. It's usually a touchscreen device or computer where the cashier can ring up what you're buying, and you can pay with cash, credit, or debit cards. A POS system can also track inventory, print receipts, and even help manage things like discounts or customer rewards.

  • Retail Stores
  • Restaurants (Table & Counter Service)
  • Coffee Shops

Gateways

A payment gateway is used when businesses need to securely process online, mobile, or card-not-present transactions by transmitting payment information between the customer, business, and payment processor.

  • E-Commerce Websites
  • Subscription Services
  • Nonprofit Donations
Legality & compliance

This only works if it's done correctly.

Passing card costs to customers is legal in most of the country — but only inside a specific set of rules. Programs fail audits when those rules are treated as optional. Ours aren't.

Card brand rules

Program registration where required, correct caps, and surcharges applied only to credit — never to debit or prepaid.

Disclosure at every step

Entrance signage, point-of-sale signage, and a separate line item on the receipt. Nothing about the program is hidden from the customer.

Texas first, then everywhere else

Texas is where we work every day, so we know the rules that apply here cold. If you operate across state lines we check each jurisdiction separately.

PCI-validated processing

Point-to-point encryption and tokenization on every terminal we ship, with PCI attestation support included.

Straight answer on the exceptions: surcharging is restricted or prohibited in a small number of states, and some card brand rules apply differently to debit. If your business touches one of those jurisdictions we will tell you during the free review rather than after you've signed — and in most cases a compliant cash discount program still gets you most of the way there. U.S. Payment Solutions is not a bank, a payment processor, or a law firm, and nothing here is legal advice.
